Trump Claims Major Success in Strikes on Iran’s Nuclear Sites, Warns of Bigger Attacks if Peace Not Chosen

Washington: U.S. President Donald Trump addressed the nation following a series of military strikes on Iran, declaring them a major success and issuing a stern warning to Tehran. Trump stated that Iran must now choose the path of peace, or face significantly larger and easier-to-execute attacks in the future.
According to the BBC, Trump confirmed that U.S. forces targeted key Iranian nuclear facilities located in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. “These are the sites we’ve heard about for years as they were building some of the worst facilities,” Trump said. “Tonight, I can tell the world that we achieved tremendous success in these strikes.”
Trump added that Iran has been given a clear choice: either ensure peace or suffer consequences far more devastating than those seen in recent days. “There are still many targets that have not been hit,” he warned. “Tonight we struck the most difficult one, but if peace does not prevail, we will strike the rest with precision, speed, and success.”
During the 4-minute address, Trump also referenced the late Iranian military commander Qassem Soleimani, accusing him of killing thousands and reaffirming his long-standing commitment to preventing such violence.
He also congratulated Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, praising his cooperation during the strikes. “They acted like a team and eliminated the worst threat to Israel,” Trump said.
