Balochistan announces five-day Eid-ul-Adha holidays for schools

Quetta (Khabrain Report) The Balochistan Education Department has announced five-day Eid-ul-Adha holidays for both public and private schools across the province.
According to an official notification issued by the department, all government and private schools in Balochistan will remain closed from May 25 to May 29, 2026, on account of Eid-ul-Adha. Educational institutions will reopen on Monday, June 1.
Officials said the decision was made keeping in view the convenience of students, teachers, and parents so families can celebrate Eid with greater ease and comfort.
Meanwhile, other provinces have also announced Eid holidays. The Punjab government has declared three holidays from May 26 to May 28, while Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have announced four-day holidays from May 26 to May 29.
Education circles believe the extended break in Balochistan will provide students sufficient time for rest, Eid preparations, and family activities.
Parents have also welcomed the decision, saying that additional holidays during the intense summer heat would be beneficial for children.
