Mahira Khan Comes Out in Support of Salman Khan, Criticizes Paparazzi Behavior

Karachi: Pakistani superstar Mahira Khan has spoken out in support of Bollywood actor Salman Khan after a video showed him expressing anger at paparazzi outside a hospital in Mumbai.
The incident occurred when Salman Khan was leaving a hospital after visiting someone. As he exited the premises, photographers reportedly followed him while repeatedly shouting the name of his upcoming film, Matr Bhoomi.
In the viral video, Salman Khan appeared visibly upset and questioned, through hand gestures, why paparazzi continued chasing celebrities even at sensitive places like hospitals. He described the behavior as insensitive.
Mahira Khan reacted to the video by sharing it on her Instagram story with a brief but supportive comment saying, “Yaar Sallu.”
Later, Salman Khan also addressed the matter on Instagram, urging the media to respect personal privacy. “What is more important — a picture or life?” he wrote.
The actor further stated that social media often turns every post into unnecessary sensational news, whereas people sometimes simply need time for themselves.
A few days earlier, a photo of Salman Khan sitting alone had gone viral on social media, sparking speculation about his mental state. However, the actor later clarified that he never feels lonely because he is surrounded by the love of his family, friends, and fans.
