Over 90% of Pakistani Pilgrims Have Reached Saudi Arabia, Says Sardar Muhammad Yousaf

ISLAMABAD: Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, has said that more than 90 percent of pilgrims from Pakistan have now reached Saudi Arabia for Hajj.

During a briefing after visiting the Hajj operations office in Makkah, the minister said that preparations for the Hajj mission are being finalized and all arrangements are being put in place.

He stated that pilgrims will be transported to Mina between the night of 7th and 8th Dhul-Hijjah as part of the scheduled Hajj arrangements.

Sardar Muhammad Yousaf added that feedback from pilgrims will be collected through a mobile application after the completion of Hajj, while official statistics will be released after their return to Pakistan.

He further said that the ministry has completed the training and deployment of guides and coordinators to assist pilgrims during the Hajj season.

According to the minister, more than 118,000 pilgrims under the government Hajj scheme have already arrived in Makkah.

He also highlighted that the “Pak Hajj” mobile application and a toll-free helpline are operational 24 hours a day to assist pilgrims with complaints and guidance.
