The Blessed Home of Hazrat Halima Saadia (RA) Where Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) Spent His Early Childhood

Islamabad (Kudrat News) — In the desert region of Banu Saad near Hudaibiyah in Saudi Arabia, historical ruins are believed to be the remains of the home of Hazrat Halima Saadia (RA), where Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) spent part of his early childhood.
According to Islamic traditions, Hazrat Halima Saadia (RA) had the honor of nursing and raising the Holy Prophet (PBUH) during his early years.
At that time in Arabia, it was a common practice for families in Makkah to entrust their newborns to Bedouin women for early upbringing, allowing children to grow up in a pure desert environment and learn the classical Arabic language.
It is narrated that when the women of Banu Saad arrived in Makkah in search of infants to nurse, they avoided taking orphaned children due to the expectation of limited financial benefit. However, Hazrat Halima Saadia (RA) and her husband Harith bin Abdul Uzza chose to take the Holy Prophet (PBUH) under their care out of compassion.
Islamic narrations state that after the arrival of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), blessings began to appear in Hazrat Halima’s household. Despite drought conditions, their livestock began to produce abundant milk, and their living conditions improved significantly.
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) spent his early childhood in this region of Banu Saad. Later, after the incident of Shaqq-e-Sadr (splitting of the chest), Hazrat Halima Saadia (RA) returned him to Makkah and handed him over to his mother, Hazrat Amina (RA).
Hazrat Halima Saadia (RA) passed away in 8 AH and was laid to rest in Jannat al-Baqi in Madinah.
