One TTP Terrorist Killed in Exchange of Fire with Police

Quetta (Kudrat News) — One outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) terrorist was killed during an exchange of fire between police and militants in the Pishin area, while a search operation is still underway in the region.
According to police, on Wednesday evening the SHO of City Police Station Pishin was returning after conducting a raid in Killi Karbala when unidentified terrorists riding motorcycles opened fire on a police mobile near Sangar Killi.
In retaliatory firing by police, one terrorist was injured, after which the attackers fled towards the hills of Killi Sangar. Later, District Police Pishin and the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) cordoned off the area, while the militants reportedly took shelter in a bunker located in the hills.
During a heavy exchange of fire between police, security forces, and the militants, one terrorist was killed. Following the incident, a search operation has continued in the area to arrest other suspects who managed to escape.
Police recovered a Kalashnikov rifle with magazines, a Honda motorcycle, and a colored copy of an identity card from the possession of the killed terrorist. Further investigation and legal action are underway.
