Section 144 Imposed Across Balochistan for One Month Amid Security Concerns

**Quetta (Qudrat Daily)** — The Home Department of Balochistan has **imposed Section 144 across the province for one month**, citing the prevailing **security situation**. A formal notification to this effect has been issued, prohibiting **public gatherings, rallies, protests, and the display or carrying of weapons**.

According to the notification, during the enforcement period of Section 144, **all kinds of processions, demonstrations, political activities, and assemblies of five or more people** will be strictly banned. The **display and possession of firearms in public** has also been completely prohibited.

Officials from the Home Department stated that the decision was taken to **maintain law and order** and **counter potential security threats**. They warned that **strict legal action** will be taken against anyone found violating the restrictions.

It is worth noting that Balochistan has witnessed a **surge in terrorist attacks and assaults on security forces** in recent months. In response, authorities have introduced multiple **administrative and security measures** to stabilize the situation.

The enforcement of **Section 144 across Balochistan** will remain **effective from November 6, 2025, for one month**.
