One Soldier Martyred, 7 Killed and 27 Injured in Multiple Violent Incidents Across Balochistan

Turbat, Panjgur, Dera Bugti, Bolan, Gwadar, Dera Murad Jamali (Daily Qudrat): Widespread unrest, targeted killings, bomb blasts, robberies, severe road accidents, and storm-related incidents have caused large-scale destruction across multiple districts of Balochistan. At least seven people, including a Pakistan Army soldier, were killed and 27 others injured in various incidents. Four bullet-riddled bodies were also recovered from Turbat and Panjgur.
According to details, in Bolan’s Braham Baran area, armed robbers attempted to loot a motorcyclist traveling from Dera Murad Jamali to Quetta. When the victim resisted, the attackers opened fire, critically injuring him. The injured man, identified as Ghani Fareed Domki, later died. Police have cordoned off the area and launched an investigation.
In Panjgur and Turbat, several shocking incidents were reported involving unknown armed men. In Panjgur, two bullet-riddled bodies were recovered from a parked vehicle near Al-Amarat Hotel on the bypass. The deceased were identified as Nabeel Ahmed and Shahab, while a 4-year-old child found inside the vehicle miraculously survived unharmed.
In another incident in Turbat’s Khaliabad area, gunmen on motorcycles opened fire on two brothers from Mastung working at a water bore project. One brother, Waheed Karim, was killed on the spot, while the other, Habib Karim, was seriously injured.
Separately, two mutilated bodies were recovered from Bank Churhai and Dasht areas of Turbat, identified as student Jan Muhammad and teacher Abid. Reports suggest that Abid had been abducted a week earlier.
In Dera Bugti’s Sui Uch area, unidentified gunmen shot and killed a man identified as Kafeel Mandrani Bugti. In another incident in Pir Koh, two volunteers of a local peace force were injured in a roadside bomb explosion. Security forces and police have launched investigations into all incidents.
Meanwhile, severe weather conditions have also caused destruction in Nasirabad, Dera Bugti, and Bolan. Heavy rains accompanied by thunderstorms and hailstorms damaged dozens of mud houses, uprooted trees, and caused electricity poles and signboards to collapse. At least 12 people, including four women and two children, were injured.
In Gwadar, on the Makran Coastal Highway near Kulmat Cross, a passenger coach traveling from Karachi to Mand overturned due to overspeeding, injuring 10 passengers, including three women. Separately, near Dera Murad Jamali, two motorcycles collided in the jurisdiction of Manjhoo Shori police station, leaving two individuals, Haji Rando Khan Mari and Nadeem Ahmed Palal, seriously injured.
Police and local administrations have initiated investigations and rescue operations in all affected areas.
