Balochistan Launches First Air Ambulance Service to Improve Emergency Healthcare

Quetta: In a landmark development for the province, the government of Balochistan has announced the launch of its first-ever air ambulance service to provide rapid emergency medical assistance to citizens in remote and underserved areas.
The initiative, named the “People’s Air Ambulance,” is now ready for public service and will begin formal medical operations soon, according to Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti.
Sharing images of the air ambulance on social media, the Chief Minister stated that another promise made to the people of Balochistan is being fulfilled. He said the service will soon be operational to ensure timely medical evacuation of critically ill and injured patients to major hospitals in larger cities.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti emphasized that the air ambulance service will play a vital role in saving precious lives, particularly in emergency situations such as accidents, natural disasters, and other critical medical conditions. He noted that many remote and underdeveloped regions of the province have long struggled with limited access to timely healthcare.
