Funeral of Lieutenant Colonel Khalid Hussain Shaheed Held in Rawalpindi with Full Military Honors, Prime Minister and Army Chief Attend

Rawalpindi (Daily Qudrat) — The funeral prayer of martyred Lieutenant Colonel Khalid Hussain Shaheed was offered today at Chaklala Garrison, Rawalpindi, with full military honors.
The officer, a resident of Sargodha district, embraced martyrdom during an intelligence-based operation in Balochistan against India-backed terrorists. He was leading his troops from the front when he sustained fatal injuries while fighting bravely.
A large number of dignitaries attended the funeral, including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Field Marshal Asim Munir (Chief of Army Staff and Defence Forces Chief), federal ministers for Interior and Information, senior serving and retired civil and military officials, as well as relatives and members of the public.

Paying rich tribute to the martyr, the Prime Minister praised his exceptional courage, devotion to duty, and unwavering commitment to defending the motherland. He reiterated that Pakistan’s armed forces, with the full support of the nation, remain determined to eliminate India-sponsored terrorism and its facilitators from the country.
He further stated that the sacrifices of Pakistan’s martyrs strengthen national resolve and reflect an unshakable commitment to safeguarding the country’s peace, stability, and sovereignty at all costs.
Lieutenant Colonel Khalid Hussain Shaheed will be laid to rest with full military honors in his native town. The Armed Forces of Pakistan, along with the nation, paid tribute to the martyr and expressed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
