Nasrullah Khan Zerey Calls for Organized National Struggle Amid Public Issues in Balochistan

QUETTA (Web Desk) – Provincial President of the Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party, Nasrullah Khan Zerey, has stressed the need to organize a structured national struggle alongside addressing public issues in Balochistan.
The remarks were made during a joint meeting of the party’s provincial and district executives held in Quetta, where party officials presented reports on their respective responsibilities.
The meeting particularly reviewed preparations for a public gathering scheduled on May 10 at Liaquat Park Quetta to mark the death anniversary of veteran Pashtun nationalist leader Abdul Rahim Khan Mandokhail. Various committees briefed the forum on their arrangements, which were appreciated, while further instructions were issued to improve organization.
Participants emphasized that the gathering would not only pay tribute to the late leader but also serve as a platform to highlight his political philosophy, national struggle, and ideological contributions. They expressed determination to make the event historic and impactful in promoting political awareness and national unity.
Addressing the meeting, Zerey described Mandokhail’s contributions as a significant chapter in the Pashtun national movement. He said the anniversary should be seen as a day to renew commitment to the late leader’s vision and principles.
He directed party workers to mobilize fully and ensure maximum public participation in the event. The meeting instructed all regional and grassroots units to launch an active public outreach campaign and encourage supporters to attend the gathering in large numbers.
The public was also urged to participate enthusiastically in the event to honor the legacy of the late leader. It was announced that party chairman and Member of National Assembly Khushal Khan Kakar, along with other central and provincial leaders, will address the gathering and share views on the current political situation, public issues, and national rights.
The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment that the party will continue its democratic and people-centric struggle in a more organized and effective manner, raising its voice for public rights, national dignity, and democratic values at every level.
