Young Doctors Association Balochistan Rejects “Unconstitutional” Cabinet, Announces Move Toward New Elections

QUETTA (Web Desk) – The Young Doctors Association (YDA) Balochistan has strongly rejected what it described as a “so-called provincial cabinet” formed through non-democratic and unconstitutional means, claiming it was created behind closed doors by a specific group.
In a statement issued by the YDA media cell in Quetta, the association said the self-formed cabinet holds no representative status of the doctors’ community and will not be accepted at any level.
The statement further warned that any damage caused in the future to the organization, the doctors’ community, or patients’ interests due to the actions of this group would be the sole responsibility of those involved in forming the disputed cabinet.
The YDA strongly condemned what it called “undemocratic actions” and urged doctors, media personnel, and government officials not to recognize the alleged cabinet.
The association also announced that it will soon present a clear stance before the wider medical community and reaffirmed its commitment to democratic values and constitutional procedures. It said efforts are underway to establish a genuine, representative, and constitutional cabinet through transparent elections.
The statement called on all members to actively participate in the democratic process and unite for the protection and integrity of the organization.
