Court Acquits Two Accused in TikToker Muskan Quadruple Murder Case Due to Lack of Evidence

ISLAMABAD: A criminal court has acquitted the main accused in the murder case of TikToker Muskan and three others, citing insufficient evidence, and ordered their immediate release.
The case was heard at the Model Criminal Trial Court, Judicial Complex, where the prosecution failed to prove charges against the accused, including Rahman Shooter and a female co-accused, Sawera. Following the verdict, the court ordered jail authorities to release Rahman Shooter immediately.
Defense lawyers Aabid Zaman and Usama Ali argued before the court that the prosecution had no substantial evidence against the accused and requested their acquittal, stating that both individuals were innocent.
According to prosecution records, the incident took place on February 2, 2021, in the Garden area of Karachi, where Muskan and three others—Saddam Hussain, Rehan Shah, and Aamir Khan—were allegedly shot dead.
Investigators had claimed that Rahman Shooter was in a relationship with Muskan, which had ended. He allegedly opened fire after seeing her with other friends in anger. A case was registered at Nabi Bux Police Station.
However, after years of trial proceedings, the court concluded that the prosecution failed to establish the charges beyond doubt and acquitted all accused persons in the case.
