Funeral of Police Martyr Faisal Shah Held with Full State Honors in Quetta; Interior Minister Vows Justice

Quetta: The funeral prayer of martyred police officer Faisal Shah was offered with full state honors at the Police Lines in Quetta, following his tragic killing in a targeted attack in the Pashtoonabad area.
A large number of senior officials, including Balochistan Interior Minister Mir Ziaullah Langove, Inspector General of Police Muhammad Tahir, Additional Chief Secretary Home Hamza Shafqaat, police officers, and members of the public attended the funeral. The martyr’s family members were also present.
A smartly turned-out police contingent presented a salute to the fallen officer as a mark of respect. Senior officials offered condolences to the bereaved family and also recited Fateha for the departed soul.
Speaking on the occasion, Interior Minister Mir Ziaullah Langove said that the entire nation is proud of the sacrifice of martyr Faisal Shah. He stated that the martyrdom will not go in vain and assured that those responsible for the attack will be brought to justice soon.
He further said that the government stands firmly with the family of the martyred officer in this difficult time and will provide them with full support and assistance.
According to details, police constable Faisal Shah was targeted by unidentified armed assailants in the Pashtoonabad area of Quetta. He sustained critical injuries in the attack and was under treatment but later succumbed to his wounds.
