Iran–US Talks Uncertainty Disrupts Air Operations Again; 45 Gulf Flights Cancelled in Pakistan

KARACHI: Pakistan’s air travel operations to Gulf countries were once again disrupted as 45 flights to and from Gulf destinations were cancelled across the country.
According to airport sources, shifting developments in Iran–US talks have once again unsettled regional air operations, leading to widespread flight disruptions.
At the Lahore airport, nine flights to and from Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Fujairah were cancelled. Meanwhile, at Islamabad airport, 12 flights were cancelled.
At Karachi airport, 18 flights were suspended, while six flights were cancelled from Peshawar airport.
Sources said there has been a sudden decline in passenger demand for flights to the United Arab Emirates, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Fujairah. They added that several flights were cancelled due to insufficient passenger numbers.
Officials further stated that ongoing uncertainty in regional diplomatic developments continues to impact aviation schedules, causing inconvenience for travelers across Pakistan.
