Non-Bailable Arrest Warrant Issued for KP Chief Minister Sohail Afridi

Islamabad: A court in Islamabad has issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sohail Afridi, over his repeated absence in a case involving allegations against state institutions.
The District and Sessions Court Islamabad issued the warrants during a hearing of a case related to accusations of making statements against state institutions. The court ordered authorities to arrest and present him before the court.
According to court proceedings, Sohail Afridi failed to appear despite summons, prompting the issuance of non-bailable arrest warrants.
The case has been registered under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency. The hearing was conducted by Senior Civil Judge Abbas Shah.
The court adjourned further proceedings until June 8.
