Indian Spy Network Busted in Karachi; Two Suspects Arrested

Karachi: The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has conducted a major intelligence-based operation against an Indian intelligence network operating in Karachi, leading to the arrest of two suspects.
According to an NCCIA spokesperson, the operation was carried out on **October 9, 2025**, based on classified intelligence and in coordination with other sensitive security agencies. The arrested individuals were allegedly transmitting sensitive information about key installations abroad through social media channels.
The spokesperson added that **mobile phones, financial transaction records, and crucial digital data** were recovered from the suspects. Forensic analysis has revealed additional evidence, while efforts are underway to track down other members and foreign links of the Indian network.
Cases have been registered against the arrested suspects under relevant sections of the **Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA)** and the **Pakistan Penal Code (PPC)**.
The NCCIA reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding Pakistan’s digital national security, stating that any attempts to destabilize the country through online espionage or subversive activities will be dealt with firmly.
