JUI Marginalized in Political Landscape by Global Conspiracy, Says Senator Maulana Abdul Wasi

Quetta (Daily Qudrat): Amir of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) Balochistan and Senator Maulana Abdul Wasi addressed party workers in Islamabad, asserting that the party has been deliberately sidelined from Pakistan’s political scene under a coordinated global conspiracy.

Speaking ahead of the April 12 rally in Mardan, he said that despite JUI’s commitment to the country’s stable and prosperous future, the party’s responsible approach was misunderstood as weakness and mocked. “It is now time to expose the forces that attacked JUI’s mandate and undermined democratic values,” he stated.

Senator Abdul Wasi accused authorities of orchestrating systematic electoral fraud in previous elections and argued that true governance is absent in two provinces, while governments in the other two were formed through interest-based deals, undermining the public mandate.

He highlighted that JUI’s widespread popularity was deliberately constrained to achieve specific objectives, but changing global dynamics are now exposing these facts. He praised Pakistan’s diplomacy, stating that the country’s sacrifices for global peace and its responsible foreign policy have gained international recognition.

The Senator criticized expansionist concepts such as “Greater Israel” and “Akhand Bharat,” calling them threats to regional stability, but said that the growing unity of the Muslim world and shifting global alignments are rendering these agendas increasingly unviable.

He vowed that JUI will continue its political struggle within the framework of the constitution, democracy, and national sovereignty, resisting any unconstitutional or undemocratic measures. He added that current regional unrest, tensions in the Middle East, the situation in Palestine, and competition among major powers indicate the formation of new political and economic blocs, making strong, independent leadership in Pakistan essential.

Senator Abdul Wasi also underscored Pakistan’s sacrifices in the war on terrorism, citing over 80,000 lives lost and billions of dollars in economic damage, as evidence of the country’s serious commitment to global peace.
