Balochistan CM Praises Pakistan’s Role in Iran-US Ceasefire Efforts

Quetta: Mir Sarfaraz Bugti has commended Pakistan’s leadership for its role in facilitating the ceasefire between Iran and the United States, stating that the country acted as a responsible state in reducing regional tensions.

In a statement shared on X, the chief minister paid tribute to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Army Chief Syed Asim Munir for their leadership. He said Pakistan played an effective and decisive role in establishing the ceasefire and preventing escalation in the region.

Bugti noted that Pakistan’s prudent leadership not only made timely and wise decisions but also strengthened the country’s diplomatic standing at the global level. He highlighted that the professional strategy and timely actions of Syed Asim Munir helped avert a potential large-scale disaster in the region.

He further said that Pakistan’s balanced and proactive diplomacy has conveyed a clear message to the international community that peace, stability, and dialogue remain its top priorities. According to him, this achievement marks an important milestone toward lasting peace in the region.

The chief minister expressed hope that these efforts would lead to a comprehensive ceasefire and pave the way for sustainable peace. He added that Pakistan’s continued diplomatic engagement serves as a model for promoting peace and stability globally, and reaffirmed that such efforts will continue to support the peaceful resolution of conflicts in the future.
