Balochistan Govt to Pursue Inclusive Policy for Stability and Prosperity, Says CM Sarfraz Bugti
**Quetta:** Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has reaffirmed his government’s commitment to maintaining sustainable peace, inter-sect harmony, and continued development in the province.
Speaking at an iftar dinner hosted in honor of prominent religious scholars associated with the National Paigham-e-Aman Committee, the chief minister said the provincial government would continue implementing a policy of inclusiveness by engaging all schools of thought and segments of society to keep Balochistan on the path of stability and prosperity. Provincial ministers and members of the Balochistan Assembly were also present at the event.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti emphasized that religious scholars play a key role in promoting moderation, tolerance, and brotherhood within society. He noted that their positive guidance can help protect the younger generation from extremism and sectarian divisions.
He further stated that the National Paigham-e-Aman Committee has proven to be an effective platform for promoting national unity and religious harmony. Highlighting the significance of the holy month of Ramadan, he said it teaches patience, restraint, and sacrifice—values that should be embraced to foster peace and love in society.
The chief minister assured participants that the government would give due importance to the recommendations and consultations of religious scholars in policymaking. Special prayers were offered on the occasion for national security, provincial stability, and the prosperity of the people.
