Lightning Strikes in Dhadar, Bolan; 10-Year-Old Girl Killed
Quetta: A tragic incident occurred in Dhadar, Bolan district, when lightning struck during heavy rain and thunderstorms, resulting in the death of a 10-year-old girl.
According to DHQ Dhadar Medical Superintendent and police sources, the girl, identified as Mah Bibi, was severely affected by the lightning strike in Zarafat Colony and died on the spot. The incident has caused grief and mourning throughout the community.
The thunderstorms in Dhadar have been intermittent, and during the same period, a lightning strike hit a transformer at the Agriculture Office, causing an explosion and temporarily disrupting electricity supply in the area.
Authorities and the Health Department have urged citizens to stay away from open areas and electrical installations during adverse weather to prevent further casualties.
