A Constitutional Martial Law Is Imposed in the Country; December 2 Rally Will Be a Milestone in Political History,’ Says Abdul Qahar Khan Wadan

Quetta – Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PMAP) Provincial President Abdul Qahar Khan Wadan has said that the historic public gathering scheduled for December 2 — marking the 52nd death anniversary of Khan Shaheed Abdul Samad Khan Achakzai — will prove to be a defining milestone in the country’s political history.
Addressing an extended meeting of the Pashtunkhwa Students Organization (PSO) Quetta district, Wadan stated that a *“constitutional martial law”* is currently enforced in the country. He added that the 26th and 27th unconstitutional amendments cannot suppress the struggle for constitutional supremacy, parliamentary sovereignty, democratic governance, an independent judiciary, and a free media.
He said the widespread rigging in the February 8, 2024 elections and the imposition of what he called a “fake leadership and illegitimate legislation” have shaken the foundations of the state.
Wadan further announced that senior leaders of the Tehreek Tahaffuz-e-Aain Pakistan (Movement for the Protection of the Constitution of Pakistan) will address the historic December 2 rally. PMAP Chairman and head of the movement, Mehmood Khan Achakzai, will deliver an important speech on national, international, and regional developments.
He urged all PSO workers and organizational members to fully mobilize and play their historic democratic role to ensure the success of the mass gathering.
The meeting was presided over by PSO Quetta District Secretary Yar Muhammad Brial. Others who addressed the session included PSO Central Finance Organizer Mehmood Achakzai, Zonal Organizer Waris Afghan, Senior Organizer Muzammil Shah Watanyar, and Yar Muhammad Brial. The proceedings were conducted by District Senior Assistant Wasi Sanzer. PMAP Provincial General Secretary Kabir Afghan and other PSO leaders were also present.
