Iran Allows Two Pakistani Oil Tankers to Pass Through Strait of Hormuz

Tehran: Iran has granted special permission to two Pakistani oil tankers to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, allowing them to resume their journey after being stranded for nearly a month due to regional tensions.
According to sources, the vessels had been halted in the Persian Gulf since the outbreak of conflict in the region. Following Iran’s approval, both ships have now safely crossed the strategic waterway and continued toward their destination.
The tankers include the Pakistan National Shipping Corporation vessel “Multan” and a chartered ship “P Eliki.” Sources revealed that the chartered tanker is carrying approximately 85 million liters of crude oil destined for Pakistan.
Shipping officials confirmed that both vessels departed from Gulf waters recently and are expected to arrive in Pakistan on March 31.
