Pakistan Army Secures 32 sq km Border Area Taken from Afghan Taliban with Permanent Fencing

Islamabad: In a significant move to strengthen national security, the Pakistan Armed Forces have fully fenced and secured a sensitive 32-square-kilometer area near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.
According to security sources, the area was cleared during recent military operations targeting terrorist groups, particularly Fitna al-Hindustan and Fitna al-Khawarij. Previously, the area had been used for illegal crossings and planning of cross-border terrorist activities.
Officials stated that modern surveillance systems, check posts, and advanced security equipment have now been installed to prevent any infiltration or suspicious activity. The area had historically served as a safe haven for Afghan Taliban and India-linked proxy groups, from where cross-border operations were orchestrated.
Following the recent operations, the region has been fully cleared and brought under permanent monitoring. Security analysts say this initiative represents a major step in enhancing the effectiveness and resilience of border security along the Pakistan-Afghanistan frontier.
