Flight Operations Between Pakistan and Middle East Gradually Improve Despite Ongoing Disruptions

ISLAMABAD: Air travel between Pakistan and the Middle East is beginning to stabilize, offering some relief to international passengers, although several flight cancellations continue to disrupt schedules.
According to aviation sources, a total of 40 flights to Middle Eastern destinations were canceled across various airports in Pakistan due to security concerns and operational challenges. The cancellations affected multiple cities, causing inconvenience for travelers.
However, signs of recovery are emerging. Around 10 inbound flights from Al Ain to Lahore, Islamabad, and Peshawar are expected, indicating a partial restoration of air connectivity. Similarly, flights from Doha to Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad are likely to operate as scheduled, providing further relief.
Despite these improvements, outbound operations remain inconsistent. Reports indicate that 13 flights from Karachi to destinations including Doha, Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai were canceled. Lahore saw 8 cancellations, Islamabad 7, Peshawar 10, and Multan 2 flights to the Middle East were also affected.
Aviation authorities stated that the ongoing regional situation has impacted flight operations, but conditions are gradually improving. Passengers have been advised to check with their respective airlines for the latest flight updates before traveling to avoid inconvenience.
