Iran Claims to Target US F-35 Stealth Jet, Calls it a Symbol of American Power
Tehran: Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, has claimed that Iran targeted a US F-35 stealth fighter jet.
Speaking on the social media platform X, Ghalibaf said the F-35 is considered a symbol of US military strength and technological superiority, but Iran challenged this perception by making it a target. He described the incident as a significant turning point, noting that it is reportedly the first time such a modern aircraft of its kind has been targeted.
Meanwhile, US media reports indicate that following the alleged targeting, an F-35 had to make an emergency landing at a US airbase in the Middle East.
