India Announces Eid-ul-Fitr on March 21 as Shawwal Moon Not Sighted

India: Authorities in India have officially announced that Eid al-Fitr will be observed on March 21 after the Shawwal moon was not sighted.
According to reports, the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Delhi confirmed that the crescent moon was not visible, leading to the decision to celebrate Eid a day later.
Similar announcements were made in major cities including Lucknow and Hyderabad, where local religious councils also declared that Eid-ul-Fitr will fall on March 21.
Meanwhile, other countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia, and Bangladesh have also reported no moon sighting, with Eid expected to be observed on the same date.
