Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Flies to Saudi Arabia on Emergency Official Visit Amid Middle East Tensions

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has departed for Saudi Arabia on a brief emergency official visit.
According to Foreign Office spokesperson Tahir Hassan Andrabi, the Prime Minister is traveling at the invitation of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar is accompanying him.
During a weekly press briefing, the spokesperson stated that Prime Minister Sharif will meet with the Saudi Crown Prince to discuss the ongoing regional tensions, security issues, and bilateral relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
The Foreign Office emphasized that the visit is of high significance and forms part of ongoing consultations between the two countries on regional peace and security. Pakistan remains committed to efforts aimed at reducing regional tensions, promoting ceasefires, and supporting diplomatic negotiations.
