Asma Jatak Reappears Before Media After Two Years, Appeals for Justice and Protection

Khuzdar: After an absence of two years, Asma Jatak has appeared before the media, appealing to the Government of Pakistan, the Government of Balochistan, law enforcement agencies, human rights organizations, and the media to ensure justice and provide her with legal protection.
In her statement, Asma Jatak alleged that she was abducted from Khuzdar on February 5, 2024, and claimed that Zahoor Jamalzai was involved in the incident. She called on the relevant authorities to conduct an impartial, transparent, and immediate investigation to establish the facts and take legal action against those found responsible.
She further alleged that during her captivity, she was forced to record videos that are now being circulated on social media, causing serious harm to her reputation, dignity, and mental well-being.
Asma Jatak also claimed that members of her family have been subjected to continuous threats and what she described as baseless allegations. She urged the authorities to provide immediate legal protection for her and her family.
In addition, she appealed to Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri and Naimatullah Khan Zehri to take notice of the matter and play a role in ensuring that she receives justice.
The allegations made by Asma Jatak have not been independently verified, and no official response from the individuals named or the relevant authorities had been reported at the time of her statement.
