Nearly 200 Children Killed in Middle East Amid US–Israel War with Iran, Says UNICEF

New York: The United Nations Children’s Fund has reported that nearly 200 children have been killed across the Middle East as a result of the ongoing conflict involving the United States and Israel against Iran.
According to UNICEF, at least 181 children were killed in Iran during the fighting. In Lebanon, seven children lost their lives, while three children were killed in Israel during the recent escalation. The agency also reported that one child died in Kuwait amid the conflict.
The organization warned that rising military tensions across the Middle East are already having devastating consequences for children.
UNICEF emphasized that children do not start wars but often pay the heaviest and most unacceptable price, urging greater protection for civilians, especially minors, in conflict zones.
