BISP Quarterly Stipend Increased from Rs 13,500 to Rs 14,500

**Islamabad (Qudrat Daily):** The federal government has announced an increase in the quarterly stipend under the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), raising the amount from Rs 13,500 to Rs 14,500.
With this latest revision, millions of registered women across the country are expected to benefit. Officials stated that the decision was taken in response to rising inflation and increasing household expenses, aiming to provide greater financial relief to deserving families.
It is worth noting that last year the quarterly assistance was increased from Rs 10,500 to Rs 13,500. The latest enhancement reflects the government’s continued effort to expand social protection amid economic challenges.
The primary objective of the program has been to support low-income families against the impact of economic slowdown, food insecurity, and inflation. In the long term, the initiative aims to reduce extreme poverty and promote women’s empowerment.
Authorities have confirmed that the revised BISP Kafalat quarterly installment will be disbursed to eligible women during the current payment cycle.
