Balochistan Government Stands With Iran, Peace and Stability Must Be Maintained: Shahid Rand

**Quetta:** Shahid Rand, Adviser to the Chief Minister of Balochistan for Political and Media Affairs, stated that Pakistan has fully supported Iran on every diplomatic and moral platform and has strongly condemned attacks against Iran at the United Nations.

In his statement, Shahid Rand emphasized that the Balochistan government stands with the national position and is committed to promoting peace and stability in the region. He appealed to religious groups, political leaders, and the public in the province to exercise patience, restraint, and wisdom during the current situation rather than acting on emotions.

He said that peaceful protests are the right of every citizen; however, turning protests into violence or taking the law into one’s own hands could strengthen the malicious intentions of adversaries. He underlined that law and order in Balochistan will be maintained at all costs, and no one will be allowed to create unrest or damage public or government property.

The adviser added that it is a collective responsibility to promote harmony, brotherhood, and peace in the province. He noted that Section 144 has been imposed in Balochistan to ensure public safety and urged citizens to comply with the law in the interest of the public.

Shahid Rand concluded by stating that national unity, internal stability, and peace in Balochistan are Pakistan’s true sources of strength, and everyone must work together to safeguard and strengthen them.
