CM Balochistan Congratulates Newly Appointed PPP Provincial Leadership, Calls It a Positive Step for Democratic Progress

Quetta, PakistanضChief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti has extended heartfelt congratulations to Sardar Umar Gorgeij, Rabani Kakar, and Mir Zahoor Ahmed Buledi on their recent appointments as Provincial President, General Secretary, and Information Secretary of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Balochistan, following the party’s organizational restructuring.

In his congratulatory message, the Chief Minister called the appointments a welcoming and positive development in the political landscape of the province. He described Sardar Umar Gorgeij as a serious, wise, and public-friendly leader, and expressed confidence that the new responsibilities assigned to Rabani Kakar and Mir Zahoor Buledi would further strengthen and energize the party’s organizational structure in the province.

CM Bugti emphasized that the active and organized role of political parties is vital for the strengthening of democracy. He added that continuity in political leadership plays a key role in restoring public trust, and he hopes that the newly appointed PPP leadership will contribute meaningfully toward resolving the issues faced by the people of Balochistan.

He stressed that promoting democratic traditions is a shared responsibility, and called on all political actors to think and act beyond partisan interests for the greater good of Balochistan. The Chief Minister also highlighted the importance of political tolerance, mutual cooperation, and inclusive dialogue as essential components for achieving sustainable progress and stability in the province.

Expressing optimism about the PPP’s new provincial team, CM Bugti said he expects them to play a prominent role in public service, raising political awareness, and upholding democratic values.

He concluded by stating that solving Balochistan’s long-standing problems requires broader political consensus and inter-party harmony, and reiterated the need for collective efforts to shape a brighter future for the province.
