Uproar in Balochistan Assembly Over Rs6 Billion Ration Distribution, Session Adjourned Indefinitely

**Quetta:** The session of the Balochistan Assembly was adjourned indefinitely after heated exchanges erupted between treasury and opposition members over financial matters, including the distribution of Rs6 billion worth of rations.

During the proceedings, opposition lawmakers raised serious questions regarding the allocation and distribution of ration funds amounting to Rs6 billion, as well as the appointment of project directors for development schemes valued at over Rs3 billion. They demanded greater transparency and accountability in the handling of public funds.

Speaker Abdul Khaliq Achakzai sought clarification on certain financial issues. However, tensions escalated when opposition members were reportedly not allowed to speak, triggering strong protests and loud sloganeering inside the house.

Amid the disorder and intense arguments, the speaker adjourned the session of the assembly for an indefinite period.
