Former Norwegian PM Thorbjørn Jagland Hospitalized After Alleged Suicide Attempt Amid Epstein File Allegations

Oslo: Former Norwegian prime minister Thorbjørn Jagland has reportedly been hospitalized after an alleged suicide attempt following the emergence of his name in documents linked to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
According to media reports, the 75-year-old former leader was admitted to a hospital, where his condition is said to be critical.
Jagland, one of Norway’s most prominent political figures, previously served as Secretary General of the Council of Europe and chaired the Norwegian Nobel Committee from 2009 to 2015.
Reports suggest that serious corruption allegations were raised against him in connection with the Epstein case. Norwegian police reportedly conducted raids at properties linked to Jagland earlier this month after documents surfaced alleging years-long ties between the former prime minister and Epstein, including claims of offers of international travel and luxury accommodations.
Authorities have not yet issued a detailed public statement regarding the investigation or Jagland’s current medical condition.
