YouTuber Sets Home Studio on Fire in Jharkhand Over Slow Follower Growth, Valuable Equipment Destroyed

**Islamabad (Qudrat Daily)** – In a shocking incident in Jharkhand, India, a young YouTuber set his home studio worth ₹1 million on fire after facing intense stress over slow growth of followers on his YouTube channel.
According to reports, 27-year-old Vidhyaik Prajapati ran a home-based film editing and digital media production setup. He had sold land to build a modern studio, hoping to gain popularity on YouTube through hard work. However, months of effort failed to yield the desired follower growth, leaving him under severe mental stress.
The incident occurred on Saturday night around 10 PM when Vidhyaik locked himself inside the studio and ignited the fire. Smoke quickly filled the house, trapping his family inside due to iron doors. Neighbors alerted the authorities, and police broke through the wall to rescue the family safely.
All equipment in the studio, including computers, cameras, sound systems, and lighting, was completely destroyed. After setting the fire, Vidhyaik jumped out from the back to save himself and was later admitted to a Ranchi hospital for psychological treatment.
The family is currently facing financial difficulties and has appealed to local authorities for assistance. Experts say the incident highlights the mental health risks faced by youth under pressure from social media and digital platforms, where the race for online success can sometimes have damaging consequences.
