Targeted Attack on Polio Workers in Chaman: Policeman Martyred, Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party Strongly Condemns

Quetta (Qudrat Daily) – The provincial secretariat of the Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party (PNAP) has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on polio workers in Chaman’s Union Council Roghani Three, Killi Janan, which resulted in the martyrdom of police officer Nizam Khan. In an official press release, the party held the government, state institutions, and failed security policies directly responsible for the incident.
The press release expressed heartfelt condolences to the family of the martyred police officer. PNAP stated that Chaman city and its surrounding areas are engulfed in complete lawlessness, where daily incidents of terrorism, armed robbery, theft, and drug trafficking have become routine, yet the authorities have utterly failed to protect the lives and property of the public.
The party further highlighted that extremist and terrorist elements still exist in society, who unjustly oppose vital public health initiatives such as polio vaccination campaigns, and alarmingly, these elements continue to enjoy state patronage and negligence.
PNAP emphasized that the last fifty years of terrorism-driven policies have thrown the Pashtunkhwa region into flames and bloodshed, resulting in the deaths of millions of innocent people. The party firmly stated that until the real supporters of terrorists are eliminated and national affairs are entrusted to the people’s true, elected, and democratic representatives, the menace of terrorism cannot be eradicated.
