Jamal Raisani Welcomes U.S. Designation of BLA and Majeed Brigade as Global Terrorist Entities

Quetta:Prominent Baloch political figure **Jamal Raisani** has welcomed the U.S. government’s decision to designate the **Baloch Liberation Army (BLA)** and its offshoot **Majeed Brigade** as **Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTO)** and **Specially Designated Global Terrorists (SDGT)**.

In a post shared on his **social media account**, Raisani stated that this designation acknowledges a long-standing reality: for decades, these militant groups have been **shedding the blood of innocent people** in Balochistan. “We have consistently warned the world about their brutality, and today, the truth has finally been recognized,” he wrote.

Raisani credited this diplomatic success to **Pakistan’s persistent efforts**, the leadership of **Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir**, and the country’s **strong political representation** on the global stage.

He noted that the U.S. action would lead to the **freezing of BLA’s financial assets**, disruption of their **funding networks**, restrictions on **their mobility**, and further **international isolation** of these terrorist groups.

“This is a message to all those political voices that sympathize with the BLA,” Raisani added. “There can be **no justification for terrorism**, and the **blood of our martyrs will not go in vain**.”
