Alleged Drone Strike in Ziarat an Attack on the Wealthy and Shepherds, a Conspiracy to Seize Natural Resources and Depopulate the Area: Abdul Rahim Ziaratwal

Ziarat (Daily Qudrat Quetta) — The Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) staged a protest demonstration in Ziarat Bazaar against a drone strike in Ziarat in which one person, Muhammad Meharban, was martyred and two others, Manzoor Ahmed and Feroz Khan, were seriously injured. The demonstration, which began as a march through the bazaar, turned into a protest gathering.
Addressing the gathering, PkMAP Central General Secretary Abdul Rahim Ziaratwal and Jamil Khan said that the attack on the wealthy and shepherds is in fact a conspiracy to depopulate an area rich in natural resources of Pashtuns, which cannot be accepted under any circumstances. They said the Mines and Minerals Act, contrary to the interests of the province’s people, was in fact a conspiracy of appropriation, and that the auctioning of seats in the February 8, 2024 election and the imposed clique were aimed at seizing the natural mineral treasures of the Pashtunkhwa homeland. They said that today there is strong opposition worldwide to the extraction of mines and minerals and certain categories thereof, and that the American people themselves have not permitted the extraction of such rare minerals.
They said, “We are the owners of our homeland and its natural treasures. Efforts to extract our mines and minerals through deals and conspiracies with the imposed corrupt clique are neither the right path nor the right action.” They added that policies made without consulting the owners and representatives of the homeland will have negative effects. They said that throwing bodies for the sake of appropriation is tantamount to treason against the country, the homeland, and its inhabitants, and cannot be accepted under any circumstances. They strongly condemned the country’s problems and crises, especially instability, terrorism, and the government’s killing and bloodshed, and demanded an end to terrorism and instability.
Earlier, protesters raised slogans and chanted: “Terrorism unacceptable, instability unacceptable, we want peace on our land,” and demanded severe punishment for those responsible for the drone strike and compensation and treatment for the martyrs and the injured.
