Rana Sanaullah Says There Is No Rights Issue in Balochistan, Terrorists Are Enemies of Pakistan

**Islamabad:** The **National Assembly** unanimously passed a **resolution condemning recent terrorist attacks**, during which Prime Minister’s Adviser on Political Affairs **Rana Sanaullah** stated that **there is no issue of rights in Balochistan** and that the perpetrators are **enemies of Pakistan**. He emphasized that those who target innocent civilians **cannot be considered aggrieved groups**.
Addressing the Assembly, Rana Sanaullah said that criminal activities can be carried out by small groups anywhere, including secure areas. In Balochistan, terrorists **check identification cards and kill people from specific provinces**, citing the recent **Jaffer Express attack**, where passengers were **murdered in front of their families**. He questioned who should be considered “disgruntled” in such incidents, asserting that the attackers are **agents of hostile countries** and **act in retaliation for failed operations like the Sandor operation**.
He detailed the human cost of recent attacks, saying that **17 security personnel and 33 civilians were martyred**, while terrorists **attempted to enter Quetta’s Red Zone but failed**. He stated that **171 terrorists were killed**, and some were apprehended. Rana Sanaullah condemned efforts to justify terrorism, noting that previous political figures allowed certain individuals to return after incidents, **enabling them to continue their attacks**.
The adviser emphasized that terrorists in Balochistan are **working with hostile nations against Pakistan**, and Pakistan must adopt a **clear and uncompromising stance against terrorism**. He praised the **sacrifices of security forces and civilians** and said that as support for extremist elements decreases, terrorism will **gradually decline**.
During the Assembly session, **Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar** presented a resolution condemning the recent terrorist incidents in Balochistan, which was **unanimously adopted**. The Speaker of the National Assembly, **Sardar Ayaz Sadiq**, commended the security forces for a **successful operation in which 175 terrorists were killed** and **saluted the bravery of the soldiers who laid down their lives**.
Prayers for the **martyred personnel, civilians, and former AJK President Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry** were offered by **Maulana Misbahuddin**, and a motion to **suspend routine proceedings to discuss the incidents** was approved to address **national security concerns**. Lawmakers called for an **in-camera briefing** to provide details of the recent terrorist attacks in Balochistan.
