Over 3,000 Anti-Encroachment Operations Conducted in Balochistan: CM Sarfraz Bugti

Quetta:Chief Minister Balochistan **Mir Sarfraz Bugti** has said that more than **3,000 operations against encroachments** have been carried out across the province during the past few months.
In a statement, the Chief Minister said that **over 800 illegal petrol pumps** have so far been sealed as part of the ongoing crackdown. He emphasized that **anti-encroachment actions are being conducted without discrimination** and will continue in the same manner.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti revealed that in **Quetta city**, a **10-year-old illegal petrol pump**, built on government land and worth **over one billion rupees**, was demolished yesterday.
The Chief Minister further stated that **government land is a trust belonging to the people of Balochistan**, and any form of illegal occupation will not be tolerated. He made it clear that **no political pressure will be entertained** during operations against encroachments.
He reiterated the provincial government’s commitment to enforcing the law and protecting public property in the larger public interest.
