Balochistan High Court Election Tribunal Orders Re-Polling in NA-251

Quetta: The Balochistan High Court Election Tribunal has stayed the notification of the winning candidate from NA-251 and ordered re-elections in 22 polling stations.

The decision was announced by Tribunal Judge Muhammad Amir Nawaz Rana, who reserved the verdict on the petition filed by Khushhal Kakr. The tribunal instructed the Election Commission to conduct fresh elections in the specified polling stations.

Representatives from the Election Commission, Deputy Director Ali Jan and Naseer Ahmed, appeared in court. The victory of Maulana Samiuddin, elected from NA-251, had been challenged by Khushhal Khan, chairman of the Pashtunkhwa National Party.
