Quetta: A friendly cricket match between Chief Minister Eleven and Chief Secretary Eleven at the PDMA Cricket Ground on Saturday provided thrilling moments, spectacular batting, and impressive bowling, delighting a large crowd of cricket enthusiasts.
The toss was won by the Chief Secretary Eleven, who invited Chief Minister Eleven to bat first. Opening the innings for CM Eleven, Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti and Zahid Khilji displayed an exceptional partnership, putting on 119 runs for the first wicket and giving the team a strong start. Mir Sarfaraz Bugti showcased confident and entertaining batting, scoring a remarkable 52 runs, which was widely appreciated by spectators.
At the end of the allotted overs, Chief Minister Eleven posted a formidable total of 181 runs for the loss of just three wickets. In reply, Chief Secretary Eleven was bowled out for 135 runs. Despite notable efforts from Chief Secretary Balochistan Shakeel Qadir Khan and IG Police Muhammad Tahir Khan, the team could not reach the target.
In the bowling department, Additional Chief Secretary Development Zahid Saleem delivered an outstanding performance, taking three crucial wickets and turning the match in CM Eleven’s favor. Ultimately, Chief Minister Eleven won the match comfortably by 45 runs.
Mir Sarfaraz Bugti’s all-round performance stood out as the highlight of the match, playing a key role in his team’s victory while captivating the audience. In the field, Sardar Kohyar Khan Domki, Babar Khan, Syed Ameen, and Hasan Mir also demonstrated remarkable skill, contributing to an entertaining and competitive game.
