Karachi Policeman Allegedly Stops Rickshaw, Offers Friendship to Woman
KARACHI: A video allegedly showing a Karachi police officer stopping a moving rickshaw and offering friendship to a woman passenger has gone viral on social media, prompting public concern and calls for action against the official.
According to ARY News, the incident occurred on a busy road in Karachi, where the police officer allegedly stopped the rickshaw and began speaking to a woman travelling inside. The viral footage reportedly shows the officer engaging the woman in an unrelated conversation and allegedly making an offer of friendship.
As soon as the rickshaw was stopped, another woman sitting inside switched on her mobile phone camera and recorded the officer’s conversation and conduct. The video was subsequently shared on social media and quickly went viral.
