Pakistan’s Current System Extremely Weak; Decision-Making Authority Lacking, Paper Courts Have Replaced Judiciary: Fawad Chaudhry

**Lahore (Qudrat Daily):**
Former Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhry has warned that Pakistan’s current system is extremely weak, with no real authority for decision-making, and that “Paper Courts” have effectively replaced the judiciary, leaving the fundamental system destabilized.
In his statement, Fawad Chaudhry said that the electoral process has become largely ceremonial, as both the judiciary and legislature have lost their functional authority. He cautioned that if the system continues in its present state, Pakistan could face severe poverty and political instability.
He suggested that it is not inappropriate to consider the formation of a national unity government, including major political figures such as Imran Khan, Nawaz Sharif, and Asif Ali Zardari, as well as parties like Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, working together with the establishment to restore a stable and constitutional framework for the country’s future.
