Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party Holds Grand Rally in Loralai on Abdul Razaq Dautani’s 38th Death Anniversary, Demands 5-Rupee Electricity Units and Removal of FC Checkposts

**Loralai (Daily Qudrat Quetta):** The Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party (PkNAP) organized a massive public rally in Loralai to commemorate the 38th death anniversary of the party’s former central general secretary and renowned national leader, Arwashad Abdul Razaq Khan Dautani. The event highlighted his historic contributions to the Pashtun national political movement and his unwavering struggle for the rights of the people.

The rally was presided over by the party’s Senior Deputy Chairman Raza Muhammad Raza. Key speakers included Central Secretary Information Isa Roshan, Provincial President Nasrullah Khan Zaire, Central Secretary Chairman Allah Noor Khan, District Secretary Mustafa Kamal, and Pashtunkhwa Students Organization Provincial Secretary Waris Afghan. The event was organized by Nemat Jalalzi, with recitation from the Holy Quran by Maulvi Fazl Karim.

Earlier, a large protest rally was led from the party office by senior party elders, winding through various streets with energetic slogans before reaching the main gathering.

Addressing the crowd, the speakers paid rich tribute to Arwashad Abdul Razaq Khan Dautani for his brave, principled, and visionary leadership. They noted his pivotal role in forming the Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party during a critical period following the split of the historic National Awami Party.

The speakers highlighted Dautani’s contributions as one of the founding leaders of the Pashtunkhwa Students Organization and his tenure as the party’s central general secretary after the assassination of Khan Shaheed. Together with national leader Abdul Rahim Khan Mandokhail, he strengthened the party and made it a true representative of the Pashtun homeland.

They recalled his tireless efforts to unite other Pashtun national parties on national and patriotic grounds. After the establishment of the Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Alliance in 1986, Dautani, alongside leaders like Sher Ali Bacha and Abdul Rahim Khan Mandokhail, conducted historic tours across key Pashtun centers, organizing public gatherings, consultative meetings, and national jirgas to pave the way for the party’s formation.

However, speakers expressed deep sorrow that Abdul Razaq Khan Dautani passed away on January 9, 1988, at a young age before seeing his vision of a strong, representative national party fully realized. They emphasized that his historic contributions remain a shining and unforgettable chapter in Pashtun political history.

The rally also included demands for electricity at a subsidized rate of 5 rupees per unit and the removal of Frontier Corps (FC) checkposts in the region, reflecting the party’s ongoing advocacy for the rights and welfare of the local population.
