Heavy Snowfall Continues in Chaman; Kozhak Top Road Cleared, Quetta-Chaman Highway Reopened

**Chaman (Daily Qudrat Quetta):** Continuous snowfall since last night has affected all areas of Chaman. Authorities carried out road clearance operations at Kozhak Top on the Quetta-Chaman Highway to ensure the passage of all types of traffic.

The District Administration, PDMA, and NHA personnel, using heavy machinery, successfully cleared the national highway, restoring it for vehicular movement. Officials praised the dedication and hard work of officers and staff involved in the clearance operation.

Authorities emphasized that public safety and uninterrupted travel remain the top priorities, and all available resources are being deployed to achieve this. The Deputy Commissioner of Chaman urged residents to stay indoors due to extreme cold and icy conditions, warning that vehicles are at high risk of slipping on snow-covered roads and mountainous areas. Non-essential travel is strongly discouraged.
