Imran Khan Held in Solitary Confinement, His Condition Unknown: Aleema Khan

Rawalpindi: Aleema Khan, sister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, has said that Imran Khan is being kept in solitary confinement and the family has no information about his condition.
Speaking to the media outside an Anti-Terrorism Court, Aleema Khan said that warrants were issued against her the other day, while on the hearing day the judge went on leave. She added that the family had requested time until Monday, but their plea was not accepted.
She alleged that Imran Khan is in solitary confinement and that the government is not willing to comply with court orders. “We do not know in what condition he is. There is no forum left for us where we can present our case,” she said.
Aleema Khan further claimed that cases involving Bushra Bibi and Imran Khan are deliberately not being fixed for hearing in order to prevent their bail.
Commenting on the political situation, she said it was a positive step that the Sindh government was not blocking roads, adding that roads were being blocked in Punjab because there was no government with a public mandate. She termed the Sindh government’s approach as sensible.
