No Lawyer Can Decide PTI Founder’s Eye Condition, Only Medical Experts Can: Talal Chaudhry

Islamabad (Qudrat Roznama) – Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry said that the extent of PTI founder Imran Khan’s vision impairment cannot be determined by any lawyer, and only qualified medical experts can make such a decision.
Speaking to Geo News at Parliament House, Talal Chaudhry stated that PTI founder’s lawyers were asked to prepare a medical report for their client, calling it a prime example of the rule of law. He emphasized, “No lawyer can decide how well or poorly his eyes are functioning. Only a specialist doctor can make that assessment, and a medical expert has already been assigned.”
The minister added that all the claims made by the opposition regarding his treatment have been verified, and Imran Khan is receiving proper medical care along with timely access to all necessary facilities.
Commenting on PTI’s political motives, Talal Chaudhry said, “PTI has no other card left to play and is using sympathy over the PTI founder’s health after failing in the February 8 protest. This is a political issue, not personal. We have never denied him any legal rights, food, or facilities—he is receiving every entitlement granted by law.”
He further highlighted the privileges provided in jail, saying, “The report confirms that the PTI founder is given facilities not available to ordinary prisoners. For example, his menu includes premium items, and he drinks mineral water from famous Pakistani brands. No regular household enjoys this kind of menu.”
