Court Orders Ignored as Meeting With PTI Founder Denied, ‘Begging’ Remark Misinterpreted: Barrister Gohar

*Rawalpindi:* Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar has said that there are no internal divisions within the party and that he has never engaged in public disputes over statements made by party leaders.
Speaking to the media outside Adiala Jail, Barrister Gohar stated that despite clear court orders, PTI founder Imran Khan is still not being allowed to meet party leaders. “We come here every week and are made to stand outside without being granted a meeting. In this context, I used the word ‘begging,’ but it has been wrongly portrayed and given a different meaning,” he clarified.
He emphasized that his remarks were meant to highlight the denial of meetings despite judicial directives, not to create controversy.
Barrister Gohar also confirmed that Saifullah Abro has been expelled from the party, explaining that it was a unanimous party decision not to vote, which Abro violated by casting his vote. “He acted against the party’s collective decision, which led to his removal,” he said.
Reiterating party unity, the PTI chairman maintained that differences of opinion are addressed internally and that the party remains firmly united despite ongoing political challenges.
